Welcome to this week's Melbourne events, exhibitions, sports and
community guide.
This week... there's a bit of the old Ooh La La in Melbourne with
the Paris to Provence Festival at Como House celebrating all things
French with two days of music, workshops, markets and more. There's
also quite a bit of Ooh La La about, what with the ongoing
Melbourne Fringe going hand in hand with Melbourne's already
popular Burlesque scene, so keep the lads on a leash ladies because
the air's more than thick with fishnets.
Festival Malaysia takes place at Queensbridge Square with a day of
Bollywood dancing, Malaysian music and the like, while Ye Olde
Kryal Castle, that place in Ballarat that has a souvenir shop with
Ye Olde Keyrings like the Knights of yore once used, will be
hosting the Medieval Festival with entertainment of all kinds,
including jousting for those who prefer sticks to balls and need a
break from the Director's Cut of the Grand Final.
