Welcome to this week's Melbourne events, exhibitions, sports and
community guide.

This week... it's a veritable smorgasbord of culture with the
proverbial melting pot that's Melbourne overflowing with events
such as the ever popular Greek Thessaloniki Festival celebrating
one of many Melbourne's sister-cities. The Manningham Multicultural
Festival offers a day of fun for the family, showcasing a wide
range of activities and entertainment found in Melbourne's
cousin-cities (I made that bit up, actually).

Meanwhile on the Mornington Peninsula, you can bask in the glory of
your chosen religion with the Interfaith Festival, and it's a sure
sign that Spring is officially here as the sticky awkwardness of
fairy floss and the heartache of a young boy getting a bracelet in
a Lucky Dip beckons with the many fetes that are popping up like
the supposedly looming locusts we've all been warned about.

Here are highlights from the latest newsletter.
