homeless awareness

The Street Store

Australia's first ever Street Store, a pop up initiative that provides the community with a chance to help out and hang up clothes for the under privileged.

This is a young community driven event open to everyone at St Paul's Court, Federation Square. An enriching experience for Melburnian's and it's influencers to learn about the homeless community and to engage with those who they are donating to.

The event will feature the pop up store, food voucher handouts, and barber grooming services. There will be guest D'J's and the chance for attendees to purchase $5 food vouchers from Mr. Burger that they can donate directly to a person in need at the event.

We hope to raise awareness and help break down the stigma towards people that are homeless. This is an interactive community initiative that creates a sharing opportunity and an accepting environment for those in need.

Cricket's Family Day

To celebrate the Commonwealth Bank Test Series coming to Melbourne on Boxing Day and to kick start the school holidays, Cricket Australia will be hosting Cricket's Family Day at the 'G on Tuesday 23rd December 2014.

Families can look forward to a day filled with cricket fun at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, including watching members of the Australian and Indian teams train and even having the chance to meet their cricket heroes! |
