Food lovers rejoice, Melbourne Food & Wine Festival kicks off Friday with 100's of tantalising events over 17 delicious days.

Melbourne Food & Wine Festival

Celebrating its 23rd anniversary in 2015, the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is a showcase of Australian food and wine that attracts some of the world’s biggest celebrities in the world of cookery and wine.

The delicious Melbourne Food and Wine Festival will see every corner of the city hosting a lip-smacking lunch, a food-lover’s fiesta or a mouth-watering master class. Enjoy canapés and cocktails on a city rooftop or something lazy and leisurely in the city laneways.

Comedy Festival favourite Nelly Thomas teams up with ABC Radio’s George McEncroe and Australia’s favourite Octogenarian Ethel Chop to honour mums this International Women’s Day.

From nappies to naughty nannas, Minecraft to (parenting) minefields, rest to respite; these three funny women will explore all the wonderful – and not-so-wonderful – aspects of contemporary parenting.

With several husbands and nine children between them – ranging from two to sixty-two years of age – this show promises to be a no-holds barred expose on maternal matters.
